The U8 Jr. Phoenix won the CMH Cheesehead Classic in Waukesha this weekend going undefeated with a 4-0 record. On the weekend, U8 scored a whopping 90 runs. After run ruling the first 3 games, they were faced with adversity and never gave up in the championship game. Trailing 3-12 going into the bottom of the 4th inning, the boys hit their way back into contention tying the game up 12-12 going into the 6th inning. After shutting out their opponent in the top of the 6th, Owen Deutsch hit a walk off double scoring the winning run in the bottom of the 6th inning winning the Championship game 13-12.

This builds on their 6-0 record in league play and is focusing on their next game this upcoming Wednesday night.
