The Jr Phoenix 12U Burgundy team fought the elements, as well as fierce competition, to take 3rd place in the Play for Trey Tournament in Whitewater, WI this past weekend.  

In the 3rd place game on Sunday, the Jr Phoenix avenged an earlier loss (during the seeding round) playing under California Rules in extra innings.  The team's word of the day was "Aggressive" and the kids demonstrated that in all phases of the game: while batting, running bases, fielding, and pitching.

A special shout out to the 4 players from the 12U Gray team that helped on Saturday during the seeding round games due to several of the multi-sport Burgundy players having to miss due to other obligations.   Great teamwork boys!  Go Falls!
